Get Happy: Eat Breakfast

Share

Lifestyle Foods' Oatmeal KitThe mantra of the health-conscious “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” is easier said than done. For many, a morning time crunch necessitates the sacrifice of a well rounded meal. Lifestyle Foods’ new Breakfast Kit provides convenience without having to forgo this vital boost. The combination provides a high-quality assortment of delicious and filling options for the office, school day or travel. High in both Vitamin C and Calcium, the Breakfast Kit makes an excellent choice for a low-calorie meal on the run.

According to the USDA eating breakfast is key to keeping the body’s metabolism and blood sugar stable throughout the day. An increase in metabolism is not the only health benefit. Studies show that eating a balanced morning meal increases both energy level and mood. Brain chemicals like serotonin send “feel good” messages that ultimately make you happier throughout the day.

Lifestyle Foods’ Breakfast Kit is an energizing combination of a low fat yogurt, graham crackers, fresh natural orange juice, all-natural granola bar, and raisins. Each component is designed to suit taste preferences; Mix the raisins in the yogurt, dip your graham cracker. Prefer to eat the creamy yogurt by itself? Leave your utensils at home – A spoon is included! Each ingredient is packaged separately, providing the option to save the granola bar or raisins to eat as a snack later in the day.

The new kit provides balance as the perfect accompaniment to Lifestyle Foods’ other offerings. Currently available are a line protein salads and side salads, both with fresh chopped romaine and a fork. The protein salads provide that extra energy boost, while the healthy side salads pair with tasty low fat dressings for under 150 calories. Lifestyle Foods also offers a line of enticing snacks that combine fresh components with high-quality ingredient combinations including honey wheat pretzels with white cheddar cheese and mini-organic whole wheat pitas with hummus. The best part? These snacks are under 240 calories as well!

Lifestyle Foods launched in 2006, filling a void in the marketplace to provide healthy grab-and-go consumer products in the perishable category. Their focus is to fit a new trendy, health-conscious generation of customers with whom the company itself can relate. The company’s founder and CEO, Jason Bross, noticed an opening in the market for healthy, tasty, and ready to eat products. Other products can be deceiving; offering convenience and not nutrition. This prompted the team to conduct worldwide research seeking healthy innovations. Continuing their research on what products customers crave, Lifestyle Foods provides new options with a variety of choices to fit any taste.

  6. I love your philosophy and branding! This is a great idea for our fast paced life!
I am currently on the go and trying to get back to my shape but feeling good about myself in spite of weight changes…! I recently went to my closet to look for my tennis skirt from 10 years ago and it didn’t fit my waistline anymore! What a motivator!!!! I am walking everywhere now as well as going back to play tennis with my sister! I have been living to work and forgot to take care of myself! Do you ship out to the OC…?
